The Benefit of Hindsight

 People frequently say, "Don't look back. You're not going that way."   I think there is some benefit to history and hindsight. There is value in the lessons we have learned.  Of course, we must carry those lessons forward. 

I have noticed recently that the lessons I learned in the past are often not the ones I was meant to know. Sometimes, hindsight gives us more clarity when we are not so close to a situation. 

Sometimes perspective is invaluable. It brings healing we never anticipated.
